THE LONG WALK

THE LONG WALK is making a comeback for members one year from now in April. It is the whole length of the Batona Trail from Ong’s Hat to Bass River in ONE day.
It starts at 5:30 a.m. and ends by 8:30 p.m. Every ten miles will be a support vehicle. I will need people to help support the walkers by being on hand to drive them to their car if they cannot go any further. A longer than 12 mile hike would be great for training if some leaders would help by submitting a trainer hike. I will have one or two 25 mile trainer hikes during the year.
