 MONDAYS

9:30 a.m. CLASS  C+/B.  FLAT AS PIZZA RIDE 45-55 miles.  14-18 mph cruising pace.   Venture to the heart of Burlington County for a flat, leisurely ride with a lunch break. Play hooky and help me find the best pizza in South Jersey. Very High Winds or rain cancel , email if not sure. Meet at Lumberton Municipal Building. Leader:Jimmy M.  wheelsucker_69@hotmail.com.  WILL NOT BE HELD MAY 30th.

6:00 p.m. CLASS  A.  PEPPY LEGS RIDE  28 miles. 20-21+ mph  NOT AN OCSJ EVENT.  The same route as before, except that it will be temporarily shortened as needed to return while there is still some sunlight.  We will maintain a very steady 21 MPH pace throughout the ride with the exception of three spots where we will stretch our legs out with a sprint.  There will be a re-grouping immediately after each sprint for those who do not want to take part.  This is a great ride for the hammers and new comers alike.  The hammers can recover from the weekend and save their stuff for Tuesday's ride, while the newcomers can log some steady miles and learn the dynamics of paceline riding.  I am hoping to return this ride to its former glory, so come on out and support it please!!!  Leader: Andy H., 609-820-0017 or the4haggertys@hotmail.com.

 TUESDAYS

6:00 p.m. CLASS  A. TORTOISE RIDE. 27 miles. 19-21 mph cruising pace.   This is not an OCSJ activity. Paceline ride. A tamer version of the "Hare" Ride. Intended to be a training ride for those who want to move up to CLASS A rides. After a brief warm-up, we maintain a 21+ mph pace. Everyone takes turns pulling.  If we leave on time, the "Hares" won't catch us -  if they do, get ready to hammer! 6:00 p.m. CLASS  B+.  B+ PACELINE RIDE 20+ miles.  18-20 mph cruising pace.   NOT AN OCSJ EVENT.  The idea of this ride is to maintain a steady 19-20 mph pace - with periods of rotating paceline where traffic allows. No one gets dropped. Dave and I will both ride as leaders - so that one of us can drop back with any stragglers. This is a good ride for cyclists looking to move up, to hone riding skills and get practice at keeping a steady speed with safety emphasized. There will not be breakaways.  This ride will NOT turn into a hammerfest. If you want to go faster than 20 mph there is the Tortoise & Hare ride that starts from Taunton Forge Shopping Center.  The route will probably start out at about 20+ miles until the days get longer and then we will increase the miles. The route will stay pretty much the same for the duration of the season.  Meet at Lenape tennis courts parking on Church Rd.  Leader: Glenn P., gpageconnect@gmail.com, Dave S., gharial@gmail.com.
